comparison among bb creams

Today, I want to show you guys which bb cream I do love the most. :))

Skinfood Aloe Sun BB Cream, The Face Shop Quick and Clean Oil-Free Blemish Balm, BRTC Protect Multiplex Balm

Here are the swatches:
From top: Skinfood Aloe Sun BB Cream, The Face Shop Quick and Clean Oil-Free Blemish Balm, BRTC Protect Multiplex Balm. You can see the differences colors among them. Skinfood bb cream is more to pinkish but for TFS bb cream is more to grayish.

BB creams slowly blended in. TFS bb cream is the most liquid fluid. BRTC bb cream is the most thicker fluid which I don't like much.

You can see Skinfood bb cream absorbs very fast.

TFS bb cream takes time to absorb into skin.

Totally sinked into skin. Skinfood fits my skin color very well. TFS remains on top. BRTC turns up pink color look (erm...I stil can accept though).

Maybe you will wondering why I love TFS bb cream so much at here. TFS bb cream is the cheapest among three of them yet it ables to suit my liking :)

Firstly, TFS texture is very light yet able to cover my redness and blemishes well. BRTC also good in camouflage. Skinfood is the second in concealing.

Secondly, normally bb creams scented, so do them. Their smell not really annoying, after awhile, scent will gone.

Thirdly, about prices. BRTC is the most expensive bb cream that I owned. If it does it great job, I would said that is really worth with every buck I spent in. But truth is no. TFS, with this lower price but far better than BRTC.

Fourthly, let's say matte finish. After applied bb cream, I love to sweep loose powder on it with ecotool. TFS provides longer matte finish. BRTC is the least in giving me matte finish look.

So far, I think there are enough for this blog title :) Which one's probability is higher for me to repurchase? Of course TFS :))

OMG! It such a holy grail bb cream for me. Do I love it? Yes indeed! It suits me well for my skin tone and keep me hours free from disturbance of oily face. It does improve my skin texture from my perspective la. Hehe :)) But if you ask me how does it improves? *shrugs* don't really know how to tell.

Pros side:
  • matte finish
  • oil control average (it lasts longer if I tap some loose powder on it)
  • nice smell (it contains tea tree oil)
  • even out skin tone and radiant
  • reduce appearance of large pores, blemishes, redness

Cons side:
  • one shade available
  • light to medium coverage
  • doesn't contain SPF

Overall, it does a good product for me. Would I repurchase again? Yes, if I didn't meet with the one better than this :)

Skinfood Aloe Sun BB Cream review

In Korean words. So, I...

credit from makeupalley. Do click it if you want have a bigger image for ingredients list. :)

Price: RM54.9

Where I buy from: Skinfood outlet

Product Claim: Rich with aloe, which possesses excellent hydrating properties and soothing effect, this multi-functional skin care product (UV protector and blemish corrector) provides moisture and nutrition to your skin while providing protection from UV rays.

Skinfood Aloe BB Cream comes in two shades: #1 and  #2. Shade #1 is more suitable for yellow undertone and the latter is more suitable for pink undertone. At first, SA asked me to take shade #2. But when I try out on back of my hand, shade #2 seems darker than shade #1 which I don't like. Cos I'm quite fair. So, I take shade #1 instead. SA said this Aloe BB Cream is suitable for oily skin type yet hydrating at the same time. It does convince me to buy, isn't it? :)

Let start with the pros side:
  • smells good
  • pores size reduced
  • even out skin tone and radiant
  • reduces redness and blemishes
  • matte finish

Cons side:
  • texture thick
  • matte finish doesn't last (after 2 hours, my face become oily if I didn't tap it with loose powder)
  • light to medium coverage

Would I repurchase again? Maybe though.

BRTC Protect Multiplex Balm review

Ingredients list.

Price: RM129

Where I buy from: Watson outlet

Product Claim: Effective protects your skin from harmful UV rays. Naturally covers uneven skin texture and blemishes. Provides whitening and wrinkle repair functions. Promotes a healthies and radiant complexion.

Actually you can obtain it with a much lower price through net! Maybe I was too hesitated to get this, and bought it instead. Lol. Such a big spender. This is the first bb cream I have ever buy. After searching and searching in google, I found this! Beauty bloggers or topic discussed at forums all pointed this is best of the best in controlling oil sebum. How happy I am when I heard this? Haha^^

You know what? I was hoping this bb cream gave me a matte finish whole day long. But it doesn't, not even for couple hours! It just last for 2 hours or less, it made my face even oily than before. Then I was thinking maybe I didn't tap some loose powder on it. So I tapped. But it just last for additional one hour only, and started oily! Oh Gosh! Damn you! Waste my money and crashed my hope for bb cream.

Pros side:
  • medium to full coverage
  • create healthy look after it oxidizes and mix with my sebum. Lol. This process take time. I won't happy with this. Can you imagine? While you are in important occasion, it just take your time slowly transform into healthy look, but once it done, the occasion finished long time ago.

Cons side:
  • texture thick
  • oxidize to a darker skin!
  • price expensive

Would I buy it again? Definitely nope.
